Description
All my art is numerically based. To quote Wassily Kandinsky:"The final abstract expression of every art is number." Blue Planet is based on the moves of a knight on a chessboard.

Thank you very much. BTW: I'm a softee when it comes to cats/kittens. Our latest addition is "Kit 10" (NOT that we have 10 cats - think of the name as a license plate.)

John, thanks for the kind remarks. It is not a fractal. I used two pieces of software, 1 - Processing, and, 2 - Paint Shop Pro Photo X2. I used Processing (visit the website at processing.org) to create a template based on a number grid related to a knight moving on a chessboard and then Paint Shop Pro to manipulate the template image. Voila! Simple.

I love it too. Incredibly beautiful... I'm new to photography... is it what they call a fractal picture, or how is this generated? However it is done it is gorgeous! I would love to learn it as I love Mandalas.

Thank you very much, Lori. Looking at your art I am extremely attracted to your LashLaFied piece. Perhaps an 'eye for an eye' - people may see similarities, mine being an earth 'eye' and yours being a sunspot or solar flare 'eye'. From a Missouri boy who has fed many a pig.
